KUWAITCITY - Chairman of the Kuwait Football
Association (KFA) Sheikh Talal Al-Fahd has threatened to withdraw from the
qualification rounds for the Asian Football Cup where the winner will proceed
toBrazilfor the 2014 World Cup, reports Al-Mustaqbal daily quoting
knowledgeable sources. The threat came following reports the Ministry of
Finance has stopped financing the association. It has been reported if the KFA
puts its case in front of FIFA, the latter will warn the government ofKuwaitfor interfering in the activities of the association which will
end in the suspension of the association.
